A Few Words from the 2008-09 PTA Co-Presidents
Dear Parents-
The end of the school year is always bittersweet. We all want to celebrate another successful school year, yet this year we must say goodbye to some of those who have helped to make Whitaker the place Where Excellence Starts!
- Goodbye and good luck to the graduating fifth grade students! We wish you the very best as you begin the next chapter in your life - Middle School!
- Goodbye to the wonderful families who will not be returning to Whitaker next year. Whether you were here for just one year or for more than a decade, you will always be a part of the Whitaker family. We appreciate all that you have done to improve the school for our children and community.
- Goodbye to Ms. Palmore. For over 31 years, you have devoted your time and talents to educating our children. We thank you for your dedication to Whitaker for the last 10 years and hope that you enjoy your much-deserved retirement. In her "free time" she plans on "searching for her second career...after finding out what that will be!"
- Goodbye to Mrs. Bozman. For over 32 years, you have dedicated your life to educating young children. We will mist your commitment to our school, your knowledge and assistance, and your love of our children. Happy re-retirement!
We hope that everyone has a wonderful summer with their families! Relax, rejuvenate, and come back in August ready for another fantastic year at Whitaker Elementary School.
